Time for the nerd factor to go up a notch :)

My dear hubby found this quiz that would tell you want NetHack monster you would be. This is what came up for me:

# |.
###u#+.
|)
If I were a NetHack monster, I would be a unicorn. Most people are only after one thing - I try to maintain a quiet and respectful distance until I feel sure that I can trust someone.
Which NetHack Monster Are You?

So come on, take it too and let me know what monster you are :D

Something that I've been thinking about

Some of you may know that I am a nerd. ;) Well in that nerdy state, I've been thinking about learning/playing chess again. I need something that will allow me to use my brain and have something that I know that I would enjoy. There are some email chess clubs around that I have been looking at. My fear is finding someone that I know and making a complete and total fool of myself. I'm not going to jump into this though. I will not start unless I'm sure that I will follow through with it. If there is anyone who actually reads this thing and is involved in something like this, please let me know what you think of it. I want some outside opinions on this. :) So come on, let me hear them. Thanks :D

Pain filled days :(

My poor husband hurt his back somehow at work last Friday. Last weekend was ok, the pain wasn't that bad. So he decided to go to work on Monday. Well that was the worst thing that he could have done. Now he can barely move without having this horrible pain shooting through his back. I took him to the doctors on Tuesday to see what the problem was. You could not believe how hard it is to find a doctor that will see people with back pain. But I digress. The doctor was not able to tell us what the problem was. He did give Tony a prescription for painkillers and something to relax his muscles. The painkillers really aren't working so that leaves Tony in constant pain. We are supposed to go for a spine MRI Tuesday and then see the doctor again on Thursday. Hopefully we will know more then. I hope so. I hate seeing my sweetie in so much pain and know that I can't do anything to help him. Well I will make an update when I know more. I just hope that it is good news

Woah, looks like I disappeared for awhile

Hi all :) Ok it has been way to long since I have posted on this thing. So I guess this is the perfect time to start again. :)

I really can't say that anything has been going on. I have decided to take up knitting again and decided to learn how to crochet (a work in progress, trust me). I have two knitting project going on at the moment. One is a scarf that I started for my son Joe last year sometime and kinda forgot about. And the other one I really can't comment on at the moment. It is a surprise for a friend of mine. Once this person knows about it I will share it with all of you. But until then you are going to have to use your imagination (yes, I am in a brave mood today ;) hahaha).

I will try my best to post here on a semi-regular basis. And yes this time I really mean that. :)

Monty Pythons' Spamalot

Hello all. Well I am home from seeing Spamalot. I must say that it rocked. :D Tim Curry made a great King Arthur. And David Hyde Pierce as Brave Sir Robin (plus some other roles) was great also. Some other funny parts included the killer rabbit puppet, the french knights throwing the stuffed cow, Camelot looking like the casino in Las Vegas, and John Cleese as the voice of God.

As much as I would like to suggest that every Monty Python fan come out to New York and see it for yourself. But since I know that would not be possible for some people, I have something for you. Click here to go to the website of the actress that played The Lady of the Lake. There you will find a link to a recording done at the 2005 Tony's. I hope you enjoy it.
